The SRC Interest Free Loan allows you to borrow up to $50 for a period of up to one month. You will need to come into the SRC to obtain this loan and this loan can be issued on the spot (provided that the president is available to approve it).

The SRC office is at Level 1 Wentworth building, City Road, Uni of sydney PHONE 9660 5222. Please bring along your student ID plus an alternate form of ID.

The Bursary and Assistance Loans Scheme:
This service has been suspended until further notice due to the introduction of Voluntary Student Unionism (VSU)..

We regret any inconvenience the suspension of the Bursary and Assistance Loans scheme may cause.

We would encourage you to write to your local Member of Federal Parliament, and the Federal Education Minister, Brendan Nelson informing them of the way in which Voluntary Student Unionism has affected you.

As above, the SRC still offers an emergency loan of up to $50
