| The SRC publishes Honi Soit, a weekly student newspaper; Growing Strong, a women's handbook; the Orientation handbook; the Counter Course handbook; and various other one-off publications throught the year.
Check out the NEW Honi Soit website Honi Soit, the SRC’s 28 page weekly publication, plays a vital role in enriching Sydney Uni’s campus community by giving a voice to student issues and interests. Honi Soit is distributed FREE at all Sydney University campuses. A must read for all students!
The Students’ Representative Council invites students each year to take part in our annual Counter-Course survey, which asks students to give feed back on their course. The results of the survey are analysed and published in the annual Counter Course Handbook, available at the beginning of semester 1. Essential reading for all Sydney University students!
The Orientation Handbook is distributed FREE during O-week each year. It contains information about what the SRC is and how it works. It gives you tips on how to survive life at university, and how the SRC can help you out when you need it. The Orientation Handbook also explores the politics of university, whether it be national education issues (how government impacts on university and the society), university administration issues (how the university funds certain courses) or interpersonal issues (for example discrimination at uni).
